Meeder

Jeanette Grace Meeder, 83, of Cranberry Township died Saturday at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Born March 22, 1925, in Cranberry Township, she was the fourth child of the late Edward G. and Nina M. Ramsey Meeder.

Miss Meeder was a life member of St. Peter's Reformed Church in Zelienople and had served as secretary of the Sunday school for many years. She had been an active member of the Cranberry Township Historical Society since its inception.

She retired in 1987 from Lava Crucible in Zelienople after 43 years.

Jeanette was a kind and giving person, dearly loved her family and was always ready to participate in family activities. She loved her Lord in a quiet and humble way.

She is survived by a sister, Nina M. Kraynik and her husband, John, of Cranberry Township; a niece, Cynthia L. Kobus and her husband, Richard; six nephews, Norman Meeder and his wife, Kathy, Gordon Meeder and his wife Sue, Lorin Meeder and his wife, Patty, Kevin Meeder and his wife, Julie, Bryan Kraynik and his wife, Betty, and Richard Wain; and a number of grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Chester, Glenn and Laird Meeder; and a sister, Lillian Wain.

<B>MEEDER</B> — Friends of Jeanette Grace Meeder, who died Saturday, May 3, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Services</B>, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter's Reformed Church, 314-320 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. James Bertoti officiating.
