Michael A. Dickey Sr.

Michael A. Dickey Sr., 59, of Butler died Wednesday morning at Sunnyview Home.

Born June 9, 1947, in Butler, he was a son Nellie R. Sobkowz Dickey and the late Michael Dickey.

He had been a truck driver at the Bill Cook Trucking Co. in Sarver for 15 years, and prior to that, he had owned and operated MD Auto Repair in Butler for 10 years.

Mr. Dickey was a member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Lyndora.

He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed cars.

Surviving are a son, Michael A. Dickey, Jr. of Butler; a grandson; his mother of Evans City, and a sister, Mrs. James (Renell) Mortimer of Evans City.

<B>Dickey </B>-— Friends of Michael A. Dickey Sr., who died Wednesday, April 18, 2007, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. George Palick, parochial vicar of his church, officiating. Burial will follow at the Butler County Memorial Park cemetery, Butler Township.
