Angeline Steriopulos

Angeline Steriopulos, 91, of Butler passed away Tuesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice, Butler.

Born on July 15, 1923, in Gary, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Petros and Katina Petramininas Pannitas.

She was a homemaker who dedicated her life to her family. She cherished her time with her grandchildren and enjoyed gourmet cooking for her family. She also enjoyed birdwatching.

She was a member of the St. Anthony's Orthodox Church in Butler. She was also a member of the Fort Lauderdale Beach Club in Florida.

Surviving are her two sons, Thomas Steriopulos of Butler and Peter (Gary Sangiacomo) of Temecula, Calif.; her two daughters, Georgia (Scot) Thompson and Diane Steriopulos, both of Butler; her six grandchildren, Nick (Lou) Wise, Alexandra (Daniel) Potts, Andrew, Gunther, Wolfgang, and Wilde, and her great-grandchild, Troy Wise.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, George Steriopulos, who passed away in July 1997; her brother, and her two sisters.

Steriopulos — The family and friends of Angeline Steriopulos, who passed away Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at theGeibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. A Trisagion prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Saint Anthony's Orthodox Church, Pillow Street, Butler, with the Rev.
