James Albert Kelly
James Albert Kelly, 64, of Patton Road, Harrisville, died at 4:04 p.m. Sunday at Allegheny General Hospital.
Born May 13, 1943, in Marion Township, he was the son of Albert L. Kelly and Betty L. Patton Kelly Thompson.
He was a 1961 graduate of Moniteau High School. He retired in 1991 as a heavy equipment operator for Adobe Mining. He also worked for the C&K Coal Co.
He was a member of Peters Chapel United Methodist Church, Irwin Township, Venango County.
He enjoyed ATV and motorcycle riding, gardening and working in the yard, and he was a NASCAR enthusiast. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He married Shirley A. Alcorn Kelly June 8, 1963, and she survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Brenda L. Auvil and her husband, Douglas, of Butler; a son, Curtis J. Kelly and his wife, Elaine, of Slippery Rock; and four grandchildren, Brian Kelly, Courtney Kelly, Nicole Auvil and Kristin Auvil.
