Sunday night fire demolishes Butler Township home

Multiple fire departments spent more than three hours Sunday night at a structure fire in Butler Township.

Butler County 911 dispatched the Butler Township Volunteer Fire District around 9 p.m. to Acre Avenue for a smoke investigation; however as units arrived on scene, they requested a fire response.

The first units responding at the scene discovered the affected home’s address was 107 Westview Drive, according to Butler Township Fire Chief Kevin Smith.
