Bette Anne Beistel

Bette Anne Beistel, 67, of 431 Cherokee Drive in Center Township died Friday.

She was born July 1, 1938, in Beaver Falls, she was the daughter of Robert and Betty Ackerman Greenlee.

Mrs. Beistel was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church.

She volunteered with Meals on Wheels, and was a member of the Timberly Heights Bridge Club, ADTT Sorority and Alpha Delta Pi. She was very active in church and enjoyed classical guitar.

Mrs. Beistel graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School. She was a registered nurse, graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Ohio Valley Medical Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, David F. Beistel whom she married April 9, 1960; three sons, Steven R., Gary P. and Andrew J. Beistel; eight grandchildren, Josuah D., Alicia, Katie, John, Maggy, Daniel, Evan and Nicholas Beistel; a sister-in-law, Barbara Romney; two nieces, Susan LeCornu and Kanako Romney, and three nephews, David Williams, Eric Romney and Chris Romney.

Mrs. Beistel was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jane Williams.

<B>BEISTEL</B> - Friends of Bette Anne Beistel will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME INC., 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Curtis McDaniel officiating. Burial will be in the Rest Land Memorial Park in Monroeville.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, Main Street, Butler 16001.
