Franklin K. Irwin
Franklin K. Irwin, 66, of Kittanning died Thursday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born Sept. 30, 1952, in St. Petersburg, Fla., and was the son of the late Warren and Joyce (Bridges) Irwin.
He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed fishing, walks in the woods and campfires. He also liked all of the Pittsburgh sports teams.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Deborah (Toy) Irwin; three sons, Justin Irwin, Travis Irwin and his wife, Brittian, and Nathaniel Irwin and his wife, Megan; two brothers, James Irwin and his wife, Gayle, and Bradley Irwin and his wife, Tracie; two sisters, Mary Irwin and Kandance Peters and her husband, Mike; and seven grandchildren, Trent, Cloe, Alyssa, Tristan, Esmerelda, Wyatt, and Niko Irwin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Joyce Irwin; and his brother, Warren “Pete” Irwin.
