Sharon L. Kendra
Sharon L. Kendra, 69, of Brookville, Pa., formerly of East Brady, died Monday at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
Born on Oct. 30, 1943, in Washington D.C, she was the daughter of Arnold P. and Dorothy J. (Hillwig) Wimer.
Sharon attended East Brady High School and was a graduate of Butler LPN school. She worked for DuBois Medical Center for 10 years.
Sharon enjoyed cross stitch, needle point, sewing, knitting afghans, painting and ceramics.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Jude M. Kendra of Brookville, Pa.; her daughter, Julie Scholl and her husband, John, of Pittsburgh; her two sons, Karl Dean Stewart and his wife, Thelma, of Rimersburg and Brent Shepard and his wife, Alicia, of Virginia Beach, Va. Sharon is also survived by her mother, Dorothy Wimer of East Brady; her sister, Kay Crissman and her husband, Clarence, of Kittanning; her sister-in-law, Peggy Wimer of East Brady, and her eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father; her brother, Neil Wimer, and her two sons, infant Stephen Stewart and Larry Stewart.
