The Butler VA Health Care System is offering flu vaccination clinics to veterans starting Monday, Sept. 19 at its New Castle Road campus and community locations.

According to a Thursday news release, flu shots are available to all veterans. Veterans currently enrolled at the Butler VA Health Care System should present their VA-issued health identification card at the vaccination site, and those not currently enrolled should present one form of ID and provide a copy of their military discharge to get a flu shot.

Non-veterans, including spouses and dependents of veterans who do not themselves have a documented history of military service, are not eligible for a flu shot from the Butler VA.

Appointments are not necessary.
