The Connoquenessing Township supervisors are soliciting applications for the sewer authority after they accepted its chairman’s resignation Wednesday.

Township solicitor Andrew Menchyk Jr. said Brendan Linton did not give a specific reason for resigning as chairman, but his term was set to expire at the end of this year. A successor would fill the seat until Dec. 31.
