George M. Luich, 61, of Butler passed away peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours of May 6, 2021.

Born Aug. 17, 1959, in Butler, he was a son of the late Michael G. Luich Jr. and Alice Olsen Luich.

He was a truck driver, who was dedicated to his work. He also loved to cook.

He is survived by his children, Valetta Luich of Butler, and George M. Luich Jr. of Butler; his siblings, Alice Horstman of Herman, John Luich and his wife, Arlene, of Cabot, and Mary Wiengarter of North Carolina; and three grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debrann Luich; one son, John Luich; and one sister, Margaret McCloud.
