Man charged after chase, crash in July

Two months after a man led police on a high-speed chase that ended with a crash on Parker Pike, Allegheny Township, he has been charged.

State police filed charges Monday against Michael P. Crum, 42, of Clarington, including felony counts of fleeing from police and DUI; misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and flight to avoid arrest; and 12 summary traffic violations related to the crash in the early morning hours of July 13.

Crum has yet to be arraigned on the charges, following which he will be issued a bond and scheduled with a preliminary hearing before District Judge Lewis Stoughton.
