Robert H. VanDalsem
Robert E. VanDalsem, 62, of Butler, passed away Sunday at his daughter's residence,
He was born Aug. 7, 1943, in Butler, a son of the late Hassan Lee VanDalsem and Pearl Harriet Allen VanDalsem.
In his early years, he was a stone mason. He was a mechanic for Falcon Trucking and a social member of the American Legion Post 243 of West Sunbury.
He enjoyed collecting and building muscle cars.
Mr. VanDalsem is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Brian (Tammy) McCaslin of West Sunbury, Tracy VanDalsem of Michigan, Sandra VanDalsem of Butler and Shania Campbell of Boyers; three sons, Robert VanDalsem of Clarksville, Tenn., Chris Price of Chicora and Robby VanDalsem of Mississippi; 11 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Raymond (Deretha) Sarvey of Butler; and several aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
<B>VANDALSEM</B> — Friends of Robert E. VanDalsem, who died Sunday, July 23, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>William F. Young Funeral Home</B>, 123 Main St., West Sunbury. Funeral services will follow at 8:30 p.m. with the Rev. David Ealy of the St. John's Methodist Church officiating.Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
