Mary E. Gallagher

Mary E. Gallagher of East Penn Street in Butler died at 8:20 p.m. Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born April 12, 1921 in Carbon Center, Pa., she was the daughter of Stanley and Mildred Liwoski Weichey.

She was a homemaker and a member of St Paul Roman Catholic Church.

Mrs. Gallagher is survived by her husband, Walter J. Gallagher, whom she married Feb. 24, 1941; two daughters, Mrs. Shirley Stepp and Mrs. Kenneth (Nancy) Collier Jr., both of Butler; two grandchildren, Tiffany, and her husband, Jonathan Valentino, and Brian, and his wife Kimberly, Collier, both of Chicora; two great-granddaughters, Isabella Mary Valentino and Amelia Valentino; four brothers, George W. and Edward Weichey, both of Butler, Carl Weichey of Fenelton and Chester Weichey of Ga.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sisters and six brothers.

<B>GALLAGHER</B> — A Mass of Christian burial for Mary E. Gallagher, who died Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Calvary Mausoleum. Memorial donations may be made to the Visiting Nurses Association, 154 Hindman Road Butler, PA 16001. Arrangements are being handled by THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, INC.Members of the St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will meet at 9:35 a.m. Saturday at the church to recite the rosary.
