William L. Duncan
William L. Duncan, 69, of Butler passed away Wednesday at the Forbes Hospice in Pittsburgh.
He was born on Jan. 23, 1945, in Sharon, Pa., to the late Victor T. Duncan and Dorothy (Headley) Duncan.
Mr. Duncan received an associate degree from Penn State in Shenango. He worked as a chemical salesperson.
Mr. Duncan was a former member of the North Main Street Church of God.
Mr. Duncan is survived by his wife, Karen (Miller) Duncan, who he married on Sept. 14, 1984; his three daughters, Lisa Duncan of Butler, Danielle Duncan of Edinboro and Dorene Sommers and her husband, Stephen, of Fairview; his granddaughter, Malia Sommers; his two brothers, Richard Duncan of Sharon and Daniel Duncan of Houston, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Margaret M. Duncan of Conneaut Lake.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Mary (Rankin) Duncan, and his brother, David Duncan.
Duncan — The friends of William L. Duncan, who passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014, will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7 p.m. with the Pastor David West of GraceWay Community Church officiating.
