Two men suffered minor injuries following a chain reaction crash Wednesday night involving three vehicles, according to state police.

Dispatchers reported an accident at 9:45 p.m. on Route 356 just east of Marwood Road, Jefferson Township.

Police said driver Michael Korczynski, 68, of Harmony, was traveling north in a Ford truck when when he rear-ended a Hyundai Elantra driven by Josh McCloskey, 24, of Butler, which then rear ended Richard Curci, 76, of Greensburg, driving a Chevrolet SUV.

According to a crash report, Korczynski did not notice McCloskey’s vehicle had stopped on the road, causing the chain reaction crash.

Korczynski and McCloskey suffered minor injuries following the accident but neither were transported from the scene.

Police said Korczynski was cited for careless driving.
