Knoch settles support contract
The Knoch School Board on Wednesday night approved a contract with the district’s 22 support employees.
The employees, who are represented by the Service Employees International Union, are custodians and maintenance staff.
The three-year contract includes a 3% increase for the support employees.
Union representatives negotiated with district officials for nine months before the two sides came to an agreement.
The union had signed the contract before the school board meeting.
