Dixie Lee Young, 62, of Butler passed away Tuesday at her home.

She was born May 5, 1949, in Butler, the daughter of the late Orville John Heath and Dorothy (Stevenson) Heath.

Dixie was a member of the East Butler Ladies Auxiliary.

She loved doing puzzles and crosswords.

Surviving are her husband, Robert William Young of Butler, who she married Oct. 17, 1980; two daughters, Guretta (Ronald) Oraves of Butler and Dorothy (Harold) Burdick of Petrolia; two sons, William (Emma Scott) Anderson and Walter (Melinda) Anderson, all of Butler; 16 grandchildren; her sister, Guretta (John) Yaracs-Staiger of Butler; her brother, Donald E. Heath of Butler, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Patricia Green and Virginia McCommon.
