Baja Butler Bash returns for 2nd year
Student racing teams and off-road vehicles from colleges around the region will once again tear up some turf at the second annual Baja Butler Bash, which is organized by Grove City College.
Baja Butler Bash will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday at SwitchbackMX on Route 8 in Clay Township. The daylong competition is $5.
Fifteen vehicles designed and built by students from Johns Hopkins, Ohio Northern, Miami, Pitt, Grove City and other universities and colleges will compete in a series of trials to determine who has the best designed vehicle.
The Grove City team has two cars, Red October and Liberty Bell, running in the event.
Food, limited-edition shirts and other items will be sold at the event.
Seating is limited, so lawn chairs are recommended. The event is rain or shine.
