Pancake breakfast will support Scout program
Breakfast lovers can chow down on pancakes this weekend while supporting needy local children at Christmas.
Boy Scout Troop 58 will hold a pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Company’s fire hall, 130 Browns Hill Road, Valencia.
The event, held since 2002, is back after a two-year hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Diners will choose between blueberry or plain pancakes. Sausage and breakfast beverages also will be included.
Cost is $8 for adults and $6 for children 12 and younger.
All proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the troop’s Christmas gift program, in which donated funds are collected to purchase Christmas gifts for needy local children.
Those who would like to donate but cannot attend the breakfast can mail a check to: Troop 58 c/o Jenny Webb, 238 Cherry Valley Road, Saxonburg, PA 16056
Please make checks payable to “Troop 58.”
