Butler County has hired Chantell McCurdy as director of its Bureau of Elections.

McCurdy has spent the last five years working as a registrar in the bureau . She holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Penn State University. She succeeds Aaron Sheasley.

McCurdy’s hiring is contingent upon ratification by the Salary Board at its next Public Meeting.
