Marlene L. Kroll, 85, of Richland Township, Gibsonia, passed away at The Grove at Harmony on Sunday evening, Oct. 30, 2022.

Born in Bakerstown on Oct. 2, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Minnie Staley Landstedt.

Marlene had worked as a home care companion at St. Barnabas.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown.

Surviving are her daughters, Deborah Fuhr (Rich) of Slippery Rock and Michele Dickman (Doug) of Saxonburg; her son, Jeff Pauls (Theresa) of Valencia; 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Kroll, whom she married on Aug. 15, 1970, and who died on Nov. 2, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Harold Landstedt; her sister, Linnea Vornkahl; the father of her children, Joe Pauls; and her great-granddaughter, Hanna Belle Fuhr.

KROLL — Friends of Marlene L. Kroll, who died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022, will be received from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, 5825 Heckert Road, Bakerstown, with the Rev. Paul Becker and the Rev. Donn Ed officiating.

Burial will be in Bakerstown Cemetery.
