Lois Jane DeGrange

Lois Jane DeGrange, 86, of Jameson Assisted Living in New Castle, formerly of Prospect, died Sunday morning at the Jameson Hospital in New Castle.

Born Feb. 9, 1919, in Prospect, she was the daughter of Charles Abram and Mable Irene Turney Dipner.

She was a homemaker and a member of the New Testament Baptist Church in Butler.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George (Barbara) Lunn of Portersville and Mrs. Ronald (Jeanie) Young of New Castle; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Pat Carnes of Hagerstown, Md.; and two sons, John DeGrange of North Port, Fla., and James DeGrange of Karns City. Also surviving are four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.

Her husband, David DeGrange, whom she married April 11, 1944, died Sept. 20, 2000. A sister and a brother also preceded her in death.

DeGRANGE — There will be no public visitation. Private funeral services for Lois Jane DeGrange, who died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005, will be held Tuesday with the Rev. Kenneth McDeavitt, her church pastor, officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.Arrangements are by the JAY BRYAN FUNERAL HOME, Prospect.
