Tammy Shaffer

Tammy Shaffer, 53, of Zelienople — a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandma, aunt and friend — passed away Wednesday.

Born June 28, 1963, in Ellwood City, she was the daughter of Robert Shaffer and Frances Lavrinc, both of Zelienople.

Tammy enjoyed watching the Steelers play, making quilts and watching her grandson play baseball.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughters, Rachel Moyer (Rob) of Eau Claire and Nicole Moyer (Chaz) of Meridian; her sister, Tracy Baric of Zelienople; her half brothers, Joseph Lavrinc of Baden, Pa., and Michael Kirker of Zelienople; her nephew, Brandon Russell, and her great-nephew, Braden Russell, both of Erie; her niece, Amanda Smith of Aliquippa; and two grandsons, Jayme of Prospect and Derrik of Eau Claire. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

SHAFFER — Friends of Tammy Shaffer, who died Wednesday, April 19, 2017, will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
