Police Reports

The following items have been collected from various police departments and district courts:

Butler City

Oct. 25 — Hassa L.R. Brack, 36, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanor obstruction of justice. Police said he refused to comply with a search warrant.

Oct. 25 — Ryan L. Pengryn, 29, of Butler, was charged with misdemeanors terroristic threats, simple assault and use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said he hit and threatened someone. Police said a small amount of suspected methamphetamine and marijuana were found on his person following a search.

Oct. 25 — Timothy A. Houtz, 37, of Butler, was charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanor simple assault. Police said he grabbed someone’s throat and threatened that person.

Butler Twp

Oct. 31 — Douglas Young, 57, of New Castle, was charged with misdemeanors false identification and conspiracy, and Kayla Randall, 29, of Butler was charged with misdemeanors theft and conspiracy. Police said they left Walmart with $251 of merchandise without paying for it.

Oct. 31 — Brock Hepler, 19, of Butler, was involved in a vehicle accident on Armco Drive. Police said he lost control of his vehicle and struck a fence.

Cranberry Twp

Oct. 26 — Todd T. Lockwood, 36, of Pittsburgh, was charged with use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they stopped him Oct. 11 at the Hyatt Hotel. Police said Lockwood was found in possession of marijuana, a metal grinder and rolling papers.

Oct. 26 — Karla D. Kirschbaum, 50, of Cranberry, was charged with misdemeanor theft. Police said she left Walmart with $179 worth of merchandise without paying for it.

Lancaster Twp

Oct. 30 — Thomas Brantner III, 21, of Ambridge, was charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanors terroristic threats and simple assault. Police said he slammed someone to the floor, grabbed them by the throat and threatened them.

State police, Butler

Oct. 31 — Riley J. Sunderlin, 21, of Butler, was involved in a vehicle crash on Eagle Mill Road, Connoquenessing Township. Police said he struck a mailbox and utility pole.

Oct. 31 — Jennifer J. Snyder, 45, and Christina L. Seyler, 41, both of Butler, were involved in a vehicle accident on Freeport Road and Simon Drive, Jefferson Township. Police said Snyder’s vehicle struck Seyler’s vehicle.

Oct. 30 — Daniel K. Norton, 39, of Slippery Rock, was charged with felony terroristic threats. Police said he threatened to kill someone Oct. 29.

Oct. 27 — Richard A. Stepp Jr., 42, of Butler, was charged with three misdemeanor counts of use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they stopped him April 3 on Hansen Avenue, Butler City. Police said marijuana and 30 glassine bags were found in his vehicle.

Oct. 26 — Brian A. Workley, 47, of Prospect, was charged with misdemeanors of driving under the influence. Police said he crashed his vehicle on Oct. 14 on Allegheny Church Road, Allegheny Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Workley’s blood-alcohol content at 0.084%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Oct. 26 — Matthew G. Hibbard, 27, of Butler, was charged with felony and misdemeanor DUI. Police said he crashed his vehicle Sept. 22 on Sunbury Lane, Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of fentanyl, methadone and xylazine in his system.

Oct. 26 — Brandi R. Wilson, 30, of Hilliards, was charged with misdemeanor tampering with evidence. Police said she disposed of heroin stamp bags, needles and a snorting straw for another investigation.

Oct. 26 — Daniel L. Rearick, 29, of Petrolia, was charged with possessing drugs. Police said they stopped him Oct. 24 on Argyle Street, Petrolia Borough. Police said he was found in possession of methamphetamine.

Oct. 26 — Kyle M. Mercer, 36, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs. Police said they stopped him June 4 on Route 38, Center Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed he was impaired, and a later blood test showed traces of marijuana in his blood.

Oct. 25 — Chloe E. Hickerson, 25, of Clairton, was charged with misdemeanors use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they stopped her June 7 on Interstate 79, Muddy Creek Township. Police said a small amount of marijuana, two empty glassine bags and two stamp bags of suspected heroin were found in her vehicle.

Oct. 25 — Suellen M. Leitch, 27, of Butler, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs. Police said they stopped her Oct. 23 on Decatur Drive, Butler Township. Police said field sobriety tests showed she was impaired, and a later breath test showed Leitch’s blood-alcohol level at 0.205%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Oct. 25 — Chance A. Orr, 22, of Delmont, was charged with two misdemeanor DUIs. Police said they stopped him Sept. 18 on West Lake Lane, Slippery Rock. Police said field sobriety test showed he was impaired, and a later breath test showed Orr’s blood-alcohol content at 0.165%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Oct. 25 — Dale C. Kot, 19, of Falls Creek, was charged with several misdemeanor DUIs and reckless endangerment. Police said he crashed his vehicle Aug. 21 on Vineyard Circle, Slippery Rock Township. Police said traces of marijuana were found in Kot’s system, and his blood-alcohol content was at 0.089%. In Pennsylvania, the legal limit is 0.08%.

Oct. 25 — Grayson I. Vouga, 24, of Harrisville, was charged with misdemeanors use and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they stopped him on Route 8, Mercer Township. Police said Vouga willingly surrendered a small amount of marijuana and THC oil.
