Katherine and Nicholas Szakelyhidi

Katherine Case Marsh of Easton, Md., and Nicholas Scot Szakelyhidi of Harmony were united in marriage Sept. 5 at Trinity Cathedral in Easton. The Rev. Nathaniel Pierce officiated. A candlelight dinner reception was held at Scossa in Easton. A barbecue and crab feast reception was held Sept. 6 at the home of the bride’s aunt and uncle, Fayette and Robert Engstrom of Easton.

The bride is the daughter of Case and Phyllis Marsh of Easton. Parents of the bridegroom are David and Joan Szakelyhidi of Harmony.

Ushers were Stephen Szakelyhidi of Pittsburgh and David Szakelyhidi Jr. of Issaquah, Wash.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in business information technology from Virginia Tech.

She is a consultant at CapTech.

The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering from Penn State.

He is an engineer with Professional Service Industries.

Following a honeymoon trip to southern Spain and Morocco, the couple is making their home in Fairfax, Va.
