Marjorie L. Packer
Marjorie Marie L. "Marge" Packer, 80, of Newhaven Lane, Crown Pointe, Center Township, died at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 12, 1926, in Wilkinsburg, she was the daughter of Martin J. and Margaret McCauley Loeliger.
She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in America.
Mrs. Packer was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and taking part in church activities. She was a member of Kononia group five.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph Henry Packer, whom she married Sept. 13, 1947; a son, Richard N. Packer and his wife, Dorothy, of Westview; a granddaughter, Julia Elizabeth Packer; a grandson, Jeffrey David Packer; six nieces, and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, David Joseph Packer; a brother, William Loeliger, and two sisters, Dorothy Float and Ethel Schaffer.

"Marge" Packer, who died Wednesday, April 11, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Services will be at noon Saturday at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in America with the Rev. Dr. Curtis McDaniel, church pastor, and the Rev. Michael Harvey officiating.
