Aysha Mary Dellen, 75, of Butler passed away Monday at the Saxony Health Center.

She was born Feb. 18, 1940, in Butler, the daughter of the late Eugene Harrer and the late Emma (Parton) Harrer.

Aysha worked at Saxonburg Ceramics and the Broad Street Cafeteria.

She enjoyed playing sports for the Senior Olympics, such as softball, basketball and volleyball. In 2007, she was one of a few women ever inducted into the Butler Area Sports Hall of Fame.

Surviving are her husband, Chester Dellen, who she married on Dec. 24, 1964; four sons, Rick (Nona) Stepp, Marty (Jonann) Dellen, retired master chief Patrick (Cathy) Dellen and Matt Dellen; four grandchildren, Shannon Stepp, Amber (Adam Sluk) Scott, Polina Dellen and Luda Dellen; two great-grandchildren, Killian Sluk and Lucas Dellen; two sisters, Wanda Harrer Grady and Barbara Harrer Leonard; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Tracey Lynn Dellen; and one sister, Jean Harrer Critchfield.

DELLEN — Friends and family of Aysha Mary Dellen, who died Monday, July 6, 2015, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler.Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joel Benson, pastor, officiating.
