Robert J. Bodesheim, 93, of Zelienople died Friday at the Passavant Retirement Community.

Born Feb. 28, 1917, in Harmony, he was the son of the late Frank C. and Elizabeth (Shaffer) Bodesheim.

Mr. Bodesheim was a life-long member of St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church in Zelienople.

He was an avid Notre Dame fan and enjoyed model trains.

Mr. Bodesheim was a member of the Portersville and Big Knob Steam Engine and Old Equipment associations.

He was a former employee for Aetna Standard in Ellwood City and retired as a lab technician with Mine Safety. Mr. Bodesheim also was a former salesman and repairman of Speed Queen appliances.

He is survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Charles Bodesheim; and two sisters, Louise Lipp and Catherine Bodesheim.

<B>BODESHEIM</B> — Friends of Robert J. Bodesheim, who died Friday, May 7, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople, with Father Robert M.
