A Saxonburg man is being accused of assaulting someone with a Christmas tree, according to charges filed Wednesday.

State police charged Michael A. Bandi, 35, misdemeanor simple assault and harassment following an incident Tuesday.

Police said they responded to a dispute in Jefferson Township around 10:15 p.m. that evening. A witness reported that she and Bandi were engaged in a verbal argument that turned physical.
