Helen M. Miller, 80, of Saxonburg died Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Born July 11, 1929, in Jefferson Township, she was the daughter of Charles Weber and Violet (Goepfert) Weber.

She worked as a medical secretary for several area doctors and also on the admissions staff at the Butler Memorial Hospital. Helen had worked part time at Camp Lutherlyn.

She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Saxonburg, the Butler Junior Women's Club and the Saxonburg VFW Auxiliary and was a past director of the Butler County Welcome Wagon.

Helen was a devoted grandmother and cook.

Surviving are her husband, Edward R. Miller, who she married Aug. 31, 1949; her son, Edward (Pam) Miller Jr. of Lanesville, Ind.; two daughters, Debra (George) Bennitt of West Chester, Pa., and Michelle (Richard) Davanzati of Butler; her brother, Joseph Weber of Sarver; six grandchildren, Madeline Miller, Justin, Tanya, George and Zachary Bennitt and Mara Davanzati; and a great-grandson Finn Bennitt.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Esther Widenhofer; and an infant daughter, Colleen.

<B>MILLER</B> — Friends of Helen M. Miller, who died Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home Inc.</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Roger G. Keller officiating. Interment will follow in the Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.Memorial donations may be made to the Camp Lutherlyn Campership Fund, Box 355, Prospect, PA 16052; or to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 310 Main St., Saxonburg, PA 16056.Information also is available at www.foxfuneralhomeinc.com.
