Leland E. “Lee” Reddick
Leland E. “Lee” Reddick, 84, of Butler passed away at 8:40 p.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 21, 1931, in Slippery Rock Township to the late Charles Reddick and Violet (McConnell) Reddick.
Mr. Reddick worked at Magnetics in East Butler as a foreman, retiring in 1996.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War.
Mr. Reddick enjoyed going on various trips and cruises. He liked playing poker with friends, playing bingo and especially spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Reddick, who he married May 11, 1956; one son, Gary E. Reddick and his wife, Debbie, of Butler; one daughter, Karen Schmidt and her husband, Emil, of Butler; two grandchildren, Jeremy Schmidt and his wife, Becky, of Volant and Mark Schmidt and his wife, Aimee, of Herman; five great grandchildren, Jenna and Aubrey Schmidt, and Rorie and Mikayla Schmidt and Mason Varner; two sisters, Ruby Haylett and her husband, Norman, of Bessemer and Marilyn McDeavitt of Slippery Rock; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers.
REDDICK — There will be no public visitation or funeral services for Leland E. Reddick, who died Friday, Dec. 4, 2015.
