Ellen L. Rutledge
Ellen Louise (Iman) Rutledge of Mesa, Ariz., died peacefully May 17 at the Hospice of the Valley, Phoenix, Ariz., with her children at her side.
She was born Feb. 1, 1940, in Butler to Leland F. Iman and Florence C. Dietz.
Ellen graduated from Butler High School in 1958 and in 1993 from Mesa Community College with a degree in interior design.
She lived in Singapore for several years while her husband worked for Oberg Industries' Singapore branch.
Surviving are her children, Tracy Rutledge Madison (Chris), Frank Rutledge III (Jean) and Christy Lynn Rutledge; grandchildren, Addison and Jackson Rutledge; siblings, Joanne Miller, Leland F. (Norma) and Arthur E. (Harriett) Iman; and her former husband, Frank Rutledge Jr.
She was preceded in death by a brother and his wife, Robert and Edna Iman; and a brother-in-law, Ralph Miller.
Ellen enjoyed playing bridge with longtime friends and had a passion for gardening and cooking.
