No tax increase in Center Township budget
CENTER TWP — Supervisors passed a resolution approving the 2023 township budget with expenditures for the year at $2,184,900, which are balanced by expected revenues.
The 2023 budget is around $170,000 more than the 2022 budget, which was passed with $2,013,500 in expenses, and also was matched by revenues. The tax rate in the township will remain at 3.55 mills, which represents $76.33 per year per homeowner with a $200,000 market-value home, according to the township’s 2023 budget report.
