Gremlins tie up Lions, 59-24

The Karns City hopped out to a 16-point lead by the conclusion of the first frame and were led by Brooklynn Taylor, who totaled 20 points, as they beat Clarion-Limestone, 59-24. Emma Dailey was the hosts other player to make it into double figures, with 13 points.

Butler swept its boys and girls matches with Shaler on Thursday, both by 7-0 scores. Eric Devore led the Golden Tornado boys with a 257 game and 706 series. Zac Kniess added a 254 game and 661 series as Butler’s boys moved to 4-0 on the season. Shaler fell to 3-1.

Kelsee McConnell paced the Tornado girls with a 213 game and 604 series. Natalie Coughenour had a 215 game and 585 series while Makenzie Zimmerman contributed a 207 game and 530 series. Butler’s girls and Shaler’s girls are both 3-1 on the year.
