Anna T. McDougall
Anna T. McDougall, 93, formerly of Bradys Bend, died Thursday at the Chicora Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 11, 1916, in Olean, N.Y,. to Rocco and Mary (DeFamia) DiPento. She as the wife of the late Gordon McDougall.
She was a nurse at Magee Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh and Butler Memorial Hospital, and she was a private nurse in the East Brady and Bradys Bend areas.
Anna was a 1970 graduate of the United Nursing School, Monica, Calif.
She enjoyed her church work and her family church affiliation. She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Bradys Bend.
She also was a member of the St. Patrick Altar Rosary Society, the American Legion Post 488 Auxiliary, and the Bradys Bend Senior Center.
Surviving are one daughter, Angel M. Potts and her husband, Dane, of Bradys Bend; a brother, Vito DiPento and his wife, Sula, of Bradys Bend; a sister, Connie Bishop of the Chicora Medical Center; and two grandsons, Dan Potts and his wife, Alexandra, of Butler and Jeff Potts of Pittsburgh.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, who died in February 1984; four brothers, Michael, John, Frank and Julio DiPento; and a sister, Rose Giancanteri.
<B>McDougall</B> — Friends of Anna T. McDougall, who died Thursday, May 6, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home</B>, 105 Fourth St., East Brady. A prayer service will also be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Church in Bradys Bend with the Rev. William Kuba, pastor of St. Eusebius, officiating.
