Slippery Rock budget has no tax increase
Town used to have the second-highest tax rate
SLIPPERY ROCK — Borough Council approved its 2023 budget at a meeting Tuesday night.
The balanced budget of $1,252,780 is similar to last year’s, according to Christian Laskey, borough manager, with no tax increase for the sixth year in a row.
“We were once the highest tax rate after Butler City,” Mayor Jondavid Longo said at the meeting. “It’s a pleasure working with a council that’s proactive in getting things done that need done.”
