Martha A. "Martie" Ritchey, 99, formerly of Bradys Bend, died Friday at Bradyview Manor in East Brady.

She was born Nov. 17, 1910, in Kaylor, Cambria County, to John and Mary (Yough) McLaughlin.

She enjoyed playing cards and bingo and going to church.

She worked for the Michigan Limestone Union Supply store in Bradys Bend for many years until it closed. She later managed Freddie's TV in Karns City until it closed.

She attended St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Bradys Bend, where she was a member of the Altar rosary Society and the Young at Heart Club.

Surviving are a niece and a nephew who she raised, Pauline Greenawalt and her husband Richard of East Brady and Paul Lucas and his wife Paula of Bradys Bend. She also is survived by several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William "Laird" Ritchey; two brothers; and five sisters.

<B>RITCHEY</B> — Friends of Martha A. Ritchey, who died Friday, June 25, 2010, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home,</B> 105 Fourth St., East Brady. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church, East Brady, with Father Ron Cyktor, pastor of St. Patrick Church, and the Rev. William Kuba, pastor St. Eusebius, officiating.Internment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Bradys Bend.The family suggests memorials be sent to St. Patrick Church, 915 State Rt. 68, East Brady, PA 16028.
