Rose M. McGrady, 86, of West Brady Street died at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born May 12, 1920, in Evans City, she was the daughter of Vito and Catherine Sarno Morabito.

She was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. McGrady retired from the cafeteria of the Butler School District Food Service Department. Prior to her marriage, she had worked at the Franklin Glass Co. and the Spaide Shirt Factory.

She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church. She also was member of the Moose Ladies Auxiliary and the Ann Silvers Club in Bradenton Beach, Fla.

She enjoyed cooking, traveling and using her computer.

She and her husband were winter residents of Bradenton Beach for more than 20 years prior to a series of illnesses. She was a two-time cancer survivor.

Surviving are her husband, Carl J. McGrady whom she married Oct. 16, 1944; a son, Carl J. McGrady Jr. of Butler; a daughter, Rosemarie and Joseph Shirk of Pittsburgh; a granddaughter, Ronya McGrady of New York City, N.Y.; and a grandson, Marc McGrady of Gainesville, Fla.

She also is survived by a sister, Mrs. Frank (Judy) Colosimo of West Sunbury; two brothers and their wives, Vito and Billie Morabito of Butler, and Joseph and Norma Morabito of Baltimore, Md.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Catherine Ceplecha of Westchester, Ill.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Lou, and a sister, Mary Lou.

<B>MCGRADY </B>— Friends of Rose M. McGrady, who died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., with the Rev. Harry Beilewicz officiating.Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Coylesville.Members of the St. Paul Guild and Christian Mothers will recite the rosary at 9:35 a.m. Saturday at the church.Information and a private guest book are available at www.thompson-miller.com.
