Brown, Krenitsky team for victory

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Slippery Rock resident Brady Brown drove TSM Tristan T to victory during the 2023 Opening Day of harness racing Wednesday at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

The horse is trained by Bob Krenitsky, Jr., of Butler.

The 4-year old gelding won a $9,000 Conditioned Pace.

Knoch grad Boyer gets double-double

ERIE — Knoch graduate and Penn State Behrend freshman Madilyn Boyer collected 12 points and a game-high 10 rebounds in the Lions’ 90-39 women’s basketball victory over Mount Aloysius on Wednesday.

Behrend (9-3, 1-0) returns to action at 4 p.m. Saturday at La Roche.

SV grad Bush helps another win

ALTOONA — Seneca Valley graduate and Penn State Altoona junior Mason Bush scored 16 points Wednesday in helping the Lions secure a 104-68 men’s basketball victory over Alfred State on Wednesday.

Penn State Altoona improved to 5-6 on the season and plays Saturday at Hilbert College.
