Joanne P. McDonald, 90, of Evans City, passed away on Friday, Jan. 6, 2023, while under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia in Cabot.

Born Feb. 20, 1932, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Permilla Lipert Kohler.

Joanne enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader. In her earlier years, she enjoyed hunting. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed watching the deer on her property. Above all, Joanne loved spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” McDonald; her grandson, Jay Rhoades; her two brothers, Harold “Skip” Kohler and Charles Kohler; and her sister, Ernestine Nerwell.

She is survived by her three children, Jay Rhoades and Shane (Margie) Rhoades of Evans City, and Kelley Baron of Bellefonte, Pa.; two grandchildren, Cody Rhoades and Joshua Baron; and three great-grandchildren.
