Joyce Ann Uhrinek
Joyce Ann Uhrinek, 63, of 145 Stepp Road, Buffalo Township, died Friday at UPMC St. Margaret hospital, Aspinwall, after complications from cancer.
Born Feb. 28, 1944, in Harrison Township, she was a daughter of the late Joseph F. Pavlik, who died in 1984, and Margaret Pacek Pavlik, who died in 1980.
She lived in Buffalo Township most of her life and was a 1961 graduate of Freeport High School.
In addition to being a homemaker, she was an office manager at Mahaffey Equipment in RIDC Park and Ed Shields Realtor in Cabot for a number of years.
Mrs. Uhrinek was a member of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Cabot, where she was an Eucharistic minister. She also served on the Buffalo Township Community Days Committee.
She enjoyed bingo, traveling to Atlantic City, Hawaii and Disney World, but she especially enjoyed her family and caring for her grandchildren the past seven years.
Surviving are her husband of 33 years, Bernard T. "Bernie" Uhrinek; four children, Mark A. (Vicki) Uhrinek of Buffalo Township, Tracy L. (Tim) Ciampaglio of Stafford, Va., Staff Sgt. David M. (Christine) Uhrinek of Williamsburg, Va., and Kevin A. (Jennifer) Uhrinek of Jefferson Hills; grandchildren, Christian and Ethan Ciampaglio of Stafford, Abigail and Caleb Uhrinek of Buffalo Township and Jacob and Alexander Uhrinek of Williamsburg; a sister, Sylvia Strelec of Peachtree City, Ga.; and a brother, Richard J. Pavlik of Buffalo Township.
<B>UHRINKEK</B> — Friends Joyce Ann Uhrinek, who died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>Duster Funeral Home</B>, 10th Avenue at Corbet Street, Tarentum, 724-224-1526. A Christian funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Cabot, with there the Rev. John Getsy, O.F.M., Cap., officiating.
