In loving memory of our beloved Ken Stroup Sr. on his 94th birthday, January 17.
A year ago your family celebrated your 93rd birthday with you. That was the last birthday with you.
You loved homemade ice cream (especially strawberry) and your family always made it for your birthday every year.
Last year we had to postpone the celebration for a week because of the weather, but we celebrated a week later.
Today there will be no celebration, no strawberry ice cream, birthday cake or gifts.
This day will be sad for us and there will be some tears but we have so many memories of past birthdays and so many years with your family and friends.
Those memories will keep you close as the years come and go.
You won’t be here with us today but you’ll always be with us in our hearts, thoughts and memories.
For those who love you this day will always have a special place in our hearts and we’ll ask God’s angels to sing “Happy Birthday” to you and we thank Him for all the years we had with you.
