Cora M. Stalker Snyder
Cora M. Stalker Snyder, 93, of Ft. Myers, Fla., formerly of Eau Claire, passed away at 9:15 p.m. April 10 at the Hope Hospice Care unit in Ft. Myers, Fla.
She was born April 24, 1918, in Eau Claire to Melvin and Eva Jane Hoffman Stalker.
She married John W. Snyder on Sept. 16, 1940, and he preceded her in death on June 15, 2002. They owned and operated Snyder Lumber for several years. They worked side by side for more than 62 years together. She enjoyed fishing, traveling and making crafts.
She also enjoyed her 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
She was a member of the Bethel United Methodist of Eau Claire.
Surviving are two sons, Larry P. Snyder (Jeanette) of Eau Claire and Frederick J. Snyder (Patti) of Ft. Myers, Fla.; five daughters, Phyllis Tinker of Seneca, Pa., Mary (David) O’donnell of Marietta, Ga., Jean (David) Druzisky of Cape Coral, Fla., Carol Ann Snyder of Ft. Myers, Fla., and Barbara (Len) Kellerman of Eau Claire; and a daughter-in-law, Jessie M. Snyder of Parker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; sisters; her husband; two sons, Robert L. Snyder and David M. Snyder; and a grandson.
SNYDER — A memorial service for Cora M. Stalker Snyder, who passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bethel United Methodist Church in Eau Claire.In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Bethel Methodist Church, 112 N.
