Kathleen Geyer

Kathleen “Kathie” Geyer, 72, of Reston, Va., passed away on Jan. 19, 2021, at the Georgetown University Hospital.

Born May 8, 1948, in Indiana, she was the daughter to the late John Beoda Frey and the late Naomi Callen Frey. Kathie graduated from Slippery Rock University with a bachelor of science degree in chemistry.

Kathie was highly active in the Messianic community, where she studied the Jewish roots of her Christian faith. She celebrated her spiritual heritage in Israel, while believing with her whole heart that God’s grace and mercy were freely available for all who placed their faith in Jesus’s atoning death and resurrection.

Kathie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Sara Geyer of McLean, Va.; and three grandchildren, Rowan, Reagan, and Graham.

Geyer — There will be no public visitation for Kathleen “Kathie” Geyer, who died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
