Geraldine I. “Gerry” Bartow, 103, formerly of St. Petersburg, Clarion County, died peacefully Monday evening at the home of her daughter, Betty, in Allison Park.

Geraldine was born Aug. 27, 1911, in Perry Township, Clarion County, the daughter of the late John Alvin and Della Esther Nunamaker Kriebel.

She was the beloved wife of 42 years to Finley C. Bartow. Mr. Bartow preceded her in death in 1971.

She is survived by one son, William Bartow and his wife, Gladys; two daughters, Lana Ennis and her husband, Michael, and Betty Clogan; one brother, Byron Kriebel; one son-in-law, Dane Karns; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Karns; a son, Gary Bartow; a son-in-law, Thomas Clogan; and a number of other siblings.

BARTOW — Friends of Geraldine I. “Gerry” Bartow, who died Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Hile Funeral Home, 802 Grove St., St. Petersburg. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
