D-Bug looks to exterminate the competition
D-Bug Pest Control, which specializes in the removal and prevention of bedbugs, stink bugs, termites, rats, bees, mice and other small unwanted invaders, is expanding its reach into the Butler area, according to Zak Lipniskis, director of operations.
“I know that the Butler area does not have a lot of pest control companies,” Lipniskis said. “I think it would be very beneficial for not only us, but the customers there. They just don’t have options. It’s a different culture than what the big companies have.”
In addition to the new Butler location at 188 New Castle Road, D-Bug has opened offices in Pittsburgh, Johnstown, Uniontown, Washington and Indiana over the past two years.
The company got its start in Greensburg, where its headquarters is located.
“D-Bug started in 1939,” Lipniskis said. “Shawn and Val Varchetti run the company now, and it’s unlike any place that I’ve worked. They care about us and they care about the customers.”
