Richelle J. McGowan Fedrizzi
Richelle J. McGowan Fedrizzi, 38, of Portersville, Muddycreek Township, died at 10:05 a.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
Richelle was born in Butler on Dec. 1, 1973. She was the daughter of A. Joanne Hetrick McGowan Taylor of Portersville and the late Richard J. “Dick” McGowan.
Richelle was a member of the St. Christopher at the Lake Roman Catholic Church in Prospect. She enjoyed singing, writing, watching movies and the company of family, especially her children. Richelle had attended Slippery Rock High School and Butler County Community College where she majored in psychology. She excelled in her studies at BC3 and had been on both the principal's and dean's lists.
Richelle is survived by a son, Seaman Apprentice Taylor J. Fedrizzi, serving with the U.S. Navy at the Naval Medical Training Service Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, and a daughter, Arden J. Webster of Gibsonia.
In addition to her mother and children, she is survived by seven brothers and sisters, Kim Brain and her husband, Roger, of West Sunbury, Greg McGowan of Trempealeau, Wis., Lisa McCluney and her husband, Dave, of Dover, Del., Kelley McGowan of Portersville, Richard McGowan of Harrisville, Teresa McGowan of Portersville, and Bernard McGowan of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; her former husband, Trevor Fedrizzi of New Castle; a number of nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and her dog, Snowbell.
Richelle was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Angelo and Margaret Erkins McGowan, and her maternal grandparents, John and Josephine Kelly Hetrick.

Franklin St., Prospect, with the Rev.
