Roger M. Elliott, 72, of New Castle passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021.

He was born Feb. 27, 1948, in Baywood, Va., and was the son of the late James V. Elliott and Lou Eva (Anders) Elliott.

Roger was a Butler High School graduate, Class of 1966.

He was an agent for Bankers Life and Casualty in Chicago, Ill., for many years.

Roger was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan, and loved golf. He also enjoyed listening to the “oldies.”

He was the loving brother of Shirley (Joe) Cavender of Wytheville, Va., and Ed (Donna) Elliott of Butler.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, James A. Elliott.

Roger will always be loved and remembered by all who knew him.

We will meet you brother, on the other side of the river.
