Meyers

Arlene F. Meyers, 56, of Harrisville died Friday at the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

She was born Jan. 20, 1953, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Frank Paterson and the late Katherine Loughner Paterson.

Arlene was the infant department manager at Wal-Mart in Grove City. She worked there for the past 12 years.

She enjoyed vacationing in Erie with her family and going to casinos. She also loved her teacup Yorkie, "Tina."

Her husband, Glenn A. Meyers Jr., who she married Oct. 10, 1995, preceded her in death March 12, 2003.

Surviving are her children and their spouses, Jason and Jody Smith of Butler, Jeremy Smith of Harrisville and Bonnie Jean Stewart and her husband, Robert Darcey Jr., of Louisiana; her father, Frank Paterson of Greensburg; and two sisters and their husbands, Betty and Bobby Jo Mabry Jr. of Cincinnati, and Kathy and Robert Filkosky of Irwin. Nine grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive her.
